Miriam Sandler – Singer-Songwriter – Passaic, NJ
Miriam Sandler never planned on becoming a professional singer but at the tender age of 18, she began touring as a background singer/dancer with numerous American and Hispanic recording artists. After receiving a Jazz Vocal Performance degree from the world renowned program at the University of Miami, she was chosen to join Jon Secada and Gloria Estefan for concert tours and TV/ video appearances. Her experience on stage was paralleled by her recording career as she accompanied James Brown and Julio Iglesias on their CD’s and was consistently demoing material for Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin and Toni Braxton. Miriam’s fast- paced lifestyle left her hungry for depth and direction and eventually, she found her way to Neve Yerushalayim, Israel. Presently, she is promoting her debut CD, “The Solution” and performing exclusively for women who are deeply moved by her heartfelt lyrics and unforgettable journey of a life of glamour and fame to one of clarity and Holiness. She is currently the music director for girls performing arts camp HaBima in Passaic, NJ and teaches vocal performance during the school year to girls in Passaic.
