Stephanie Kurtzman Barat – Violinist – New York

Stephanie Kurtzman Barat is an active performer and teacher in the classical and Jewish music arenas. She is a graduate of Curtis Institute of Music and Carnegie Mellon University. She has soloed with many orchestras including twice with the Houston Symphony Orchestra. She has performed in such places as Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Jones Hall and Merkin Hall. She has taken part in many chamber music festivals. She also freelances and plays with many of the Jewish bands and artists. She teaches in schools and privately and also often shares music in therapeutic settings.
